About Dr. Willie Vasquez Ng
A lifelong public servant, Master Peace Officer, entrepreneur, and educator who has spent more than 30 years protecting and strengthening the people of Texas, and now teaches others to lead the same way.

A Lifetime of Service to Texas
Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr. Willie Vasquez Ng, MPA, PhD, built his life around service, integrity, and stepping up when others won’t.
From 22 years with the San Antonio Police Department to a federal Secret Service task force, from leading a 54-investigator division at the Bexar County DA’s office to building a statewide company, Willie’s leadership was tested in the highest-stakes environments there are.
Willie began his career with the San Antonio Police Department in 1993. Over the next 22 years he served as a Patrol Officer and then as a Detective Investigator in both the Repeat Offenders Program and the Forgery & Financial Crimes Unit, working narcotics, identity theft, fraud, counterfeit currency, and organized repeat-offender cases.
He later served more than seven years on the U.S. Secret Service Task Force, deputized as a Special Federal Deputy Marshal, assisting with major federal investigations involving wire and bank fraud, money laundering, public corruption, organized crime, and national security intelligence.
In 2015, Willie was appointed Chief Criminal Investigator for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, leading a division of 54 investigators and civilian personnel, and preparing serious criminal cases for prosecution, serving with honor until 2018.
While still in law enforcement, Willie founded Blue Armor Security Services in 2003. What began as a small local operation grew into a statewide company serving San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, El Paso, and Odessa, creating more than 2,700 jobs and protecting schools, churches, neighborhoods, businesses, and critical infrastructure.

Willie has spent decades investing in organizations that strengthen families and develop future leaders, as Co-Founder of the Maestro Entrepreneur Center, Past President of the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and a board member for CASA, the American Red Cross, and JOVEN, among others. He helped pass Texas House Bill 918, giving inmates employment documents and transitional support before release to remove barriers to successful reentry.
Willie serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word, teaching graduate courses in Criminal Justice, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, and Modern Law Enforcement Practices. He holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership (UIW), an MPA (St. Mary’s University), and a BS in Criminal Justice (Wayland Baptist University).
Willie and his wife, Ruby, founded the Willie Ng Family Foundation, which supports law enforcement officers, military families, seniors, cancer patients, and families facing hardship, and has funded student scholarships since 2010.
In 2017, Willie faced one of the greatest challenges of his life: a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer. Through faith, determination, and family, he survived. That experience reshaped his understanding of service, deepened his compassion, and sharpened the message he carries to every stage today.
